Itinerary

Altitude: 2320 m, Drive Time: 1 hour (58km) Welcome to Bhutan! Our driver will be waiting for you when you arrive with a Top Most Vacation signboard. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Spend the afternoon exploring Paro town. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with traditional Bhutanese cuisine.

Wake up early to attend the opening day of the Paro Tshechu festival. Witness colorful mask dances, cultural performances, and religious rituals at Paro Rinpung Dzong. Explore the dzong and its surrounding areas. Attend evening prayers at a local temple.

Visit the iconic Paro Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest) on a challenging hike. Explore the Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples. Return to your hotel for some relaxation. Attend evening festival events if available.

Drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital city (about 1.5 hours). Visit the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma Statue, and Tashichho Dzong. Explore the local markets for shopping and souvenirs. Return to Paro in the evening.

Attend the main day of the Paro Tshechu festival. Witness more mask dances, cultural performances, and religious ceremonies. Enjoy traditional Bhutanese food and interact with locals. Attend the closing ceremony in the evening, which often includes the unfurling of a giant thangka (religious scroll).

After breakfast, drive to the airport and farewell.
